Creating a Pinterest marketing strategy is one of the best steps you can take to skyrocketing your website traffic. There are so many tools to help you get started! Below I’m outlining my 5 favorite resources that I use every single day as a Pinterest marketing strategist that will make your life so much easier!
GRAMMARLY
Grammarly is a writing assistant software that catches and corrects spelling and grammar mistakes. I think every entrepreneur should use Grammarly because nothing makes you lose credibility with your target audience faster than misspelled words and poor grammar. I use this to make sure my pin descriptions and blog posts are in tip-top shape. And the best part is that it’s free!
CANVA
I’m pretty sure my pins (and website for that matter) would look like a flaming pile of dog poop if I didn’t have Canva. This platform has it all from hundreds of pin templates, branding kits, stock images etc. It’s also incredibly user-friendly. You can check out their free version, but I recommend using Canva Pro for endless design options.
TAILWIND
By now you probably know that it’s very hard to gain traction on Pinterest without pinning content every single day. This can be incredibly time consuming, which is why most business owners and virtual assistants use Tailwind to save time by scheduling tons of pins in advance. Think about how amazing it would be to get all your pins for the month scheduled in less than a day. Now you have the rest of the month to focus on other important things!
HIGH QUALITY STOCK PHOTOS
If you’re a blogger who relies on stock photos to elevate your pin design, it’s crucial to find a stock image source that produces high quality images. My absolute favorite websites for stock imagery are Haute Stock and Social Squares. Haute Stock is my particular favorite because they offer stock videos in addition to photos. If you’re not ready to pull the trigger on a monthly or yearly membership, make sure to check out their “Free Resources” tab to download some free images!
CREATIVE MARKET
Creative Market is a marketplace to find unique pin templates, fonts, images, and graphics. Most of these can be uploaded to Canva. I love browsing Creative Market for Pinterest pin template bundles. Most of the work is done for you. All you have to do is add your own images and titles!
And there you have it! Those are the Pinterest marketing resources I can’t live without!
